Author Adopter communities will increase adoptions of open textbooks

We are delighted that the excellent Utah open Sociology textbook will be the subject of the first College Open Textbooks author/adopter community. Adopting instructors can communicate with each other to share ancillaries and best practices.

This was a very successful meeting. The slides we revised during the meeting are posted in one of the comments below.Forming a community to share sociology open resources including textbooks. The goal of the meeting is to identify subject matter experts and others who can spend a few hours per month building awareness of flexible and affordable alternatives to commercial sociology textbooks and learning resources.
